We also call it jarlick. Years ago I used to go to Zion Market after work to get the discount spicy pork bowls (theirs were something special), but they were eventually bought and rebranded, then shut down. Thank goodness an H Mart appeared a few years later to fill the gap. It's the only place I can get concord(ish) grapes in SoCal. I just wish they still had those fluffy cheese cakes.... Loved the video, it's always fun to see and hear about you doing stuff that I used to do more often, memory lane and all. Have a good one. <3

I'm honestly curious if anyone pays ridiculous prices like $59 for a dress at a thrift store. I really hope they don't. Seeing a thrift store that large really brings back memories of my thrifting days when stores like that still existed in my area.

Guys who say i want a girl in fishnets black skirt and corset. But dont want a Girl who will go to cemetery with them or watch horror movies id say run. I'm almost 50. ADHD, dyspraxia and dyscalculia. I've always struggled to find and keep (and to do well) a job, because of these obvious issues. At work, most people usually don't understand the way my brain work, the way I move and handle things (dyspraxia), and often they believe I'm some kind of idiot. Well shortly, I don't look credible for the "normies", as good people they could be. So, imagine the other layer of weirdness : this "idiot" I am doesn't like what people like, is always dressed in black, seems a bit eccentric and the music she listens to doesn't ring any bell to the people around. At lunch and breaks, I struggle with the small talk. No house, no kids, no travels, nothing "interesting". And a bunch of awkardness and clumsiness in the doing of my tasks and my overall social communication. That was all what it took, over the decades, to make me ashamed of myself, to the point of litterally suffocate in my attemps to find some common ground (I believe a workplace is something to take seriously, it brings the bread and the roof). So many people playing the "age card", "this old idiot is still in her teen crisis"... Angela, you seems strong and confident. It looks like what you do in life, you do well. I feel it "legitimize" your alternative side, like it makes it pass better. But what when you are the definition of awkwardness, as I am ? I'm quite old, I know I mustn't give a damn. But the older I get, the more I feel like I don't "deserve" to be who I really am. I'm working on it... Sorry for the long text, thank you for your time and kindness.

I put so much time and effort into making my wardrobe unique. Which means I end up thrifting, dyeing, and cutting my clothes. I also sculpt my jewelry from oven back clay that I coat in superglue to reinforce it. I was looking everywhere for a carnivorous pitcher plant necklace and couldn’t find one so I just made my own with clay and leftover moss from my wedding centerpieces lol. Crafting is my hobby and it makes me sad to see baby bats stressing out cause they can afford Disturbia or KILLSTAR. I do my best to share tips and instructions whenever I can.

Good old times... I was adding gorset-like laces to all of my clothes. But I belive this subculture is still about music and mindset, so I often wear softer goth outfits out of laziness.

I spent lots my pay check at digital under ground late 90’s.my friend bought digital under ground about 15 or more years ago.still shop there and still listen to goth and do shows and dj goth!

There's this one girl on a fashion short where she walks like she's so goth. I can't describe it with adjectives, I just immediately thought of your channel. She walks into a big circle, she has a kind of hunchbackz white face, pretty aggressive but not any of your business. So intense, I wish I could find it, she just walks out, she's in a pants outfit. I still have some T-shirts (The Sisters of Mercy, The Mission) I bought in the late 80's. I wasn't really a goth then, but I definitely liked the music and went to many concerts when I lived in Belgium. T-shirts have holes in them, so your idea is the perfect way to recycle!. Went to an “Alt-Night” and same thing, even though “Alternative” is a broader genre-so they could’ve played so much and not been wrong. Except they didn’t, they had some local guy DJ his own original music and I’m sorry, it was not in the Alt sphere whatsoever. All a big money grab to sell some basic clothes they had on racks from SHEIN & Alliexpress and up charge them by 20x And for the local dude who worked there to force his **beats** on everyone.

You were always pretty and from looking at your class photo, I know there were guys that had crushes on you. You were clearly not one of the plus size girls in high school, not one of the ugly girls, and had enough friends that shared the same interests as you did. A good portion of that feeling of exile/rejection is normal and typical for a woman. Don’t think it was all because you were a goth.

You are looking really good here. You dress those lips up in so many different ways. You look like you can give men so much pleasure with those naturally juicy lips of yours.
